Beep & Build

Snap command blocks together to guide Bolt the robot across the floor to its battery. Every level you solve adds a brick to your tower.

  • Learn to code by playing
  • Bolt gives hints, never answers

      How it works

      1. 1You snap blocks into a program

Forward, turn left, turn right and repeat. Each level has a block limit.

        You
      2. 2Bolt follows them, one block at a time

The block Bolt is doing lights up, so you can spot where a plan goes wrong.

      3. 3Missed twice? Bolt gives a hint

A nudge about the idea, like counting squares or spotting a pattern. Never the answer.

        AI
      4. 4Reach the battery, add a brick

The level is solved and your tower grows by one brick.

        You

      Bolt AI

A small robot helper. Follows your blocks, and after two missed tries gives a hint that points you the right way without solving it.

      You You

The coder. You choose every block, press Run, and decide what to change when Bolt misses.

In this sample, Bolt’s hints are written ahead of time.

      Tower built!

You solved all three levels and your tower has three bricks. Every program was yours. Bolt only followed it.
